SUPPORT OUR WORK
Ways To Help
Donate
Donate to Boston Fencing Club to support financial aid, outreach, and parafencing.
We also take equipment donations, as long as the equipment is in working condition, free of holes or stains, and meets modern safety standards.
Volunteer
Contact us to find out when our next volunteer opportunities are coming up, including street fairs, clinics, and community events.
If you are a HS student who needs community service hours, we are happy to sign off on your forms after you have helped at an outreach event.
Coach
If you have coaching experience or advanced fencing experience, contact us about opportunities to coach in schools and rec centers.
Give Freely is a free, digital plug-in that finds coupons to apply to your purchases, saving you money with offers from thousands of your favorite stores. Not only that, anytime you make a purchase with Give Freely, a percentage of the transaction goes to the charity of your choice -- at no extra cost to you. Right now, Give Freely is partnering with BFC, to also donate $10 for every person who installs Give Freely and selects BFC as their charity.
"As a Boston Public School P.E. teacher, one of my many goals is to foster the development of knowledge and passion for lifelong physical activities (activities and sports that can be performed at any age or ability). Fencing is a perfect example of a lifelong physical activity.
Having the Boston Fencing Club teach a day in my classes was absolutely outstanding. Students were introduced to skills and a sport that most were unaware of. The few students who were familiar with fencing were some of my students who rarely speak up. This day was their moment to shine and they were proud to be the 'expert'."
-- Lauren McNamara, BPS Physical Education Teacher
