The 2019 April NAC featured Division I, Senior Team Championships, and Wheelchair Championships as well as Vet, Div II, and Div III Events. BFC fencers put up strong finishes throughout the weekend, coming home with five medals across the three weapons. Peter Souders had the highest individual championship result with a Top 8 finish in Men's Sabre. He then joined Spencer Kuldell and Tommy Choi to earn a third place finish in the Men's Sabre Team Championship. Kaleigh Mentzer and Maria Theodore represented BFC in the Women's Sabre Championship, taking Top 16 and Top 32, respectively. Simon Todreas had a fantastic weekend, finishing Top 16 in Div II Men's Epee and coming home with his first national medal, a bronze in Div III. Lena Rhie joined Simon in earning her first national medal, placing Top 8 in Div III Women's Sabre. Mélanie Pages represented BFC Foil well, taking Top 8 in the Div III Women's Foil event and coming home with BFC's fifth medal.
